Gerade zur Weihnachtszeit wollen wir nochmal kurz auf einen unserer Klassiker eingehen: die schönen RICE Spielzeugkisten in Hausform. Als wir zur letzten Kollektionsvorstellung bei den netten Hamburger RICE Mädels eingeladen waren hatten sie in ihrem Showroom eine ganze Wand damit dekoriert. Einzeln sehen die Körbe ja bereits klasse aus, das kunterbunte Arrangement hatte aber auch etwas besonderes für sich. Unser Sohn Emil (der kleine blonde Mann auf dem Bild links) hatte allerdings zuerst arge Schwierigkeiten sich bei diesem riesigen Angebot auf dem Immobilienmarkt für das richtige Eigenheim für sein Spielzeug zu entscheiden. Letztendlich suchte er sich dann die grüne Zookiste mit dem braunen klappbaren Dach aus, auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl. The first two products from J.I.P that we got in our shop have been a pink and a blue lunchbox with stars. One for the girls and one for the boys. Now we finally have all the lovely and colourful lunchboxes and travel mugs and kindergarten bags from this young brand. Alll items perfectly fit together as you can see on the left picture. This spring collection is just one happy statement from one end to the other- a mix of rainbows, floral peace signs, love birds and a lot of kissing. RICE had a lot of fun making this collection and I hope this transpires to you. The glamourama twist is what really makes it RICE. When they went to India to work on this collection one day driving through one of the more rough parts of Delhi their designers saw this big sign saying ‘Glamourama Salon for Ladies’ and instantly fell in love with that word – Glamourama! On the 25th of May, the day of the holy Sophie, this little giraffe was born in the French Alpes. At this time only classic animals where produced for children to play with. But Monsieur Rampeau from France who was specialised in the production with natural rubber invented Sophie. TakaTomo.de fosters the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and is proud foster parent of the little elephant Buchuma. in 20o4 this baby elephant had fallen into a pipeline manwhole but hopefully has been saved by the animal welfare activists of Daphne Sheldrick.
