Safe tableware
Of course, many parents wonder whether melamine is really safe, after all, the little ones eat from this tableware every day. As long as you follow certain rules, this material is absolutely safe. According to the RICE brand, the melamine they use is long-lasting, durable, sustainable, approved by the DVFA and free of bisphenol A and phthalates. However, melamine products are not suitable for the microwave, but they are dishwasher safe at up to 70°C. So as long as you don't fill the cups with boiling water and don't try to heat your food on the tableware, you don't have to worry.
Almost unbreakable melamine tableware
Of course, there are only a few materials that are really unbreakable, and these are usually very heavy and not suitable as tableware. However, melamine is unbreakable compared to glass or commercially available porcelain, which tableware is often made of.
